Wäre doch nur ganz Wakanda Forever so schön wie der glorreiche Anfang des Films und seine gefühlvolle Hommage an Chadwick Boseman - aber leider wird ein deutlich vielversprechenderer Plot schon sehr früh durch eine Geschichte ersetzt, die auf einer fadenscheinigen Ausrede beruht, und die Darstellung des Antagonisten und seines Volkes muss aus Zeitgründen (in einem 160 Minuten langen Film!) größtenteils durch kurz gefasste Rückblenden erfolgen, da diverse für den Film irrelevante Nebenschauplätze und Charaktere in die Handlung gezwängt wurden, nur um zukünftige MCU-Serien und -Filme vorzubereiten.
If only the entirety of Wakanda Forever was like the gloriously beautiful beginning of the movie and its heartfelt tribute to Chadwick Boseman — but unfortunately a decisively more promising plot is abandoned very early on to be replaced by a story that’s hinged on a lacklustre excuse, and the depiction of the antagonist and his people has to happen mostly through condensed flashbacks because of time constraints (in a 160 minutes long movie!) which arise from several side stories and characters that were forced into the plot only to set up future MCU shows and movies.
