With a strong focus on a plethora of self-contained scenes and only a very loose overarching storyline, The Muppets Haunted Mansion is never more nor less than what the title suggests, a faithful and detailed scene by scene recreation of Disney‘s classic ride in Muppet form that’s oozing with charm throughout its too short runtime even though the songs can’t quite hold up with the best in Muppet movies nor with the original attraction’s spooktacularly timeless soundtrack.
